What Should I Play installs straight from your browser, on your phone or your computer. There is no app store or download: it opens in its own window with its own icon and updates itself whenever the site does. This is called a Progressive Web App (PWA).
iPhone / iPad
In Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen, turn on Open as Web App, then tap Add. In Chrome, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen, then Add.
Android
In Chrome, open the browser menu, tap Add to Home screen or Install app, then Install.
Desktop (Windows / Mac)
In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon on the right of the address bar (or open the menu and choose Install). You get a desktop and taskbar or dock icon, and it opens in its own window.

Do you store my Steam data when I sign in?
No. Signing in only keeps a signed cookie with your Steam ID so we can load your library. Your games and playtime are fetched fresh each visit and stay in your browser. We never save them to a database.
Does it pick from games I already own?
Yes. It only chooses from your own Steam backlog (or the demo library). It is not a store recommendation engine.
Is there an app I can install?
Yes, straight from your browser. What Should I Play is a Progressive Web App, so there is no app store or download. On a phone, add it to your home screen; on desktop, click the install icon in Chrome or Edge's address bar. It opens in its own window with its own icon and updates automatically. A Steam Deck plugin is coming too.
